The DaVinci robotic surgical system is applied successfully to endoscopic-laparoscopic operations. He was the first to perform a series of robotic surgery operations in Greece (cholecystectomy, postoperative hernia repair, adhesiolysis, colectomy, hiatal hernia repair, adjustable gastric band placement for morbid obesity, ovarian cyst removal, inguinal hernia mesh repair, pancreatic mass removal, huge renal mass removal, appendectomy to adults and children). The operations were completed successfully, with minimal blood loss, and very satisfactory postoperative course for these patients.
